CPR and First Aid: Primary and Secondary Care

EFR 

  First aid skills and CPR are very good skills for anyone who is into adventure sports. This certification is a prerequisite for someone who wants to proceed to the PADI Rescue Diver Course.

 

 

 

What You Will Learn

During the Emergency First Response course you will learn:

  • Basic Life Support and CPR.
  • AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use – optional
  • Caring for Shock, Spinal injury and Serous bleeding management
  • FSplinting and Bandaging .

How long does the course take?

The Emergency First Response can be made in one day or more depending your performance and logistics.

Prerequisites

No actual prerequisite needed. Only your will to care about other people and be able to assist them in an emergency.Only your will to care about other people and be able to assist them in an emergency.
 

Learning Materials

You will use the Emergency First Response manual for independent study and you will practice your skills with an Instructor to build confidence to provide emergency assistance to a layperson.

Continuing Education

You can proceed and join the EFR Care for children course so you complete your knowledge and skills not only for adults but also for children and infants. The PADI Rescue Diver Course is you next step if you already have the PADI Advanced Diver certification (or a qualifying certification from another organization). .
